Manoogian Manor Assisted Living in Livonia, MI

THE GIVING TREE PROJECT

Rooted in Heritage. Growing in Hope.

A Capital Campaign in Support of Resident Safety, Comfort & Dignity

Add Your Leaf - Support Our Residents

Help Manoogian Manor grow a safer, brighter, more beautiful home for our residents through this long-term capital campaign.

It takes a village to care for our elders.

Manoogian Manor has been that village for 76 years—one of only three Armenian senior living facilities in the United States.

Join us in writing the next chapter of our story. Every contribution—large or small—helps.

What the Giving Tree Project Is

The Giving Tree Project is Manoogian Manor’s long-term capital campaign dedicated to strengthening, enhancing, and beautifying our award-winning senior community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with no government funding and no endowment, Manoogian Manor relies entirely on the generosity of supporters to continue offering safe, faith-filled, dignified care for our elders.

This project will continue year after year, growing as our needs grow — and helping us improve safety, update our facility, and brighten the lives of everyone who calls Manoogian Manor home.

The Giving Tree is Growing

Your generosity ensures Manoogian Manor remains a place of peace, warmth, and safety — not just today, but for future generations.

Why Your Support Keeps Manoogian Manor Strong

  • Manoogian Manor is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit

  • We have no endowment to rely on
  • 100% of improvements come directly from community generosity
  • We are a three-time “Best of Senior Care” award winner
  • Every upgrade enhances resident safety, comfort, and dignity

A Project Rooted in Armenian Heritage & Love for Our Elders

The pomegranate tree has long symbolized life, faith, and resilience in Armenian culture. Inspired by this heritage, artist William Terian created a breathtaking mural that now anchors the lobby of Manoogian Manor. Its branches represent our community’s strength — and its leaves represent the generosity that keeps our home growing.

The Giving Tree Project is the continuation of a promise made more than 75 years ago: to care for our elders with dignity, joy, compassion, and beauty.

Honor our elders. Preserve our heritage.

Together, let’s nurture the next chapter of Manoogian Manor’s story. Join us in keeping the Armenian spirit alive. Add your name to the Giving Tree and help us create safer, more beautiful spaces for our residents.

Honor a Loved One with a Permanent Engraved Leaf

Our top four donor levels receive engraved leaves on the Donor Recognition Wall beside our Giving Tree mural:

  1. Major Donor — $10,000 & Above
  2. Gold Donor — $5,000 to $9,999
  3. Silver Donor — $1,000 to $4,999
  4. Friend Donor — $250 to $999

All leave may include a memorial message that may include:

  • Family name
  • Individual name
  • “In Memory Of…”
  • “In Honor Of…”
  • A short, loving message

No matter the size, all gifts make a meaningful difference. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

Add Your Leaf Today, and Leave Your Legacy for Tomorrow.

Thanks to your generosity, our tree continues to grow. Every gift helps us reach our next milestone and enhance the lives of our residents.

Our First Milestone Goal: $100,000 for Safer, Brighter Flooring

The first phase of The Giving Tree Project will fund new Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring throughout our common areas. This upgrade will significantly improve safety, mobility, and cleanliness for all residents. Some of the many benefits to this flooring include:

✔ Slip-resistant surface improves safety
✔ Easier walker & wheelchair mobility
✔ Brighter, more welcoming spaces
✔ Highly durable & long-lasting
✔ Hygienic and easy to sanitize
✔ Reduces trip hazards
✔ Enhances daily comfort and independence

Modern flooring is the first step toward a safer, more beautiful home — and it will benefit every resident, every day.

Unveiling a Legacy of Love

On November 2nd at 5 PM, Manoogian Manor unveiled the Giving Tree mural and Donor Recognition Wall during a moving dedication ceremony attended by local clergy, community leaders, residents, and families.

The mural now stands as a tribute to our heritage and to everyone who helps the Giving Tree grow.
