A Special Moment of Gratitude
The Giving Tree Dedication Ceremony
At Manoogian Manor, every act of generosity becomes part of our story — a story built on compassion, community, and the belief that seniors deserve to live with dignity, comfort, and joy. This month, we reached a meaningful milestone with a ceremony that brought together residents, families, staff, and supporters.
On November 2nd at 5 PM, Manoogian Manor unveiled the Giving Tree mural during a moving dedication ceremony attended by local clergy, community leaders, residents, and families.
The event marked the official launch of the Giving Tree Project and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Manoogian Manor.
A Ceremony Filled With Heart
Attendees gathered in the lobby as the coverings were lifted from the newly installed Giving Tree mural — a stunning piece of art created by local artist William “Bill” Terian. Bill has generously donated his time and remarkable talent to the Giving Tree Project, creating an inspirational 6’x7′ oil landscape mural that will remain on permanent display at Manoogian Manor. His vision beautifully captures our motherland’s landscape of Mount Ararat, featuring peacocks and the pomegranate tree — the Tree of Life — symbolizing hope and the enduring soul of Armenia.
We are deeply grateful to Bill and his wife, Araxie, for the love and generosity they have expressed toward our residents and the mission of Manoogian Manor. Their gift will continue to inspire all who walk through our doors for many years to come.
Next to the mural stands the wall where our donor leaves will eventually be displayed. Right now, it remains intentionally blank — a clean canvas ready to grow as our community joins together in support of the Giving Tree Project. During the ceremony, guests were invited to imagine how this wall will someday fill with leaves honoring loved ones, families, and supporters who believe in Manoogian Manor’s mission.
The mural now stands as a tribute to our heritage and to everyone who will help the Giving Tree grow. It symbolizes hope, gratitude, and the shared belief that our seniors deserve the very best.
Honoring Purpose and Legacy
Throughout the ceremony, we highlighted what the Giving Tree represents for Manoogian Manor:
A Commitment to Senior Care: Funds raised will support essential improvements that enrich the daily lives of our residents.
A Community of Support: The future display wall will soon begin to fill with donor leaves as supporters contribute to the project.
A Legacy of Love: Families will have the opportunity to honor their loved ones in a meaningful, lasting way.
A Vision for Tomorrow: This project will help ensure Manoogian Manor’s continued growth and excellence in care.
Guests were welcomed to view the mural up close and envision how the wall beside it will transform as donor participation grows in the months and years ahead.
A Growing Tradition Begins
While the Giving Tree is newly unveiled and awaits its first supporters, the dedication ceremony marked the ceremonial start of what will become a long-standing tradition at Manoogian Manor. As contributions come in and leaves are added, the wall will evolve into a vibrant symbol of generosity and community partnership.
